About:Hong Kong Airport Express

Can we get a free shuttle bus service back to HKIA from our hotel (Ibis Hotel Sheung Wan)?

Do we have to buy two way airport express ticket on the day we alight at airport or there is any direct bus or shuttle bus to airport?

Well, the free shuttle bus service is only available for AE passengers. You can take it back to HK Station. But you need to show a valid AE ticket to/from Airport Station or a same day Airline Ticket/Boarding Pass before boarding. Then, you can take AE train to HKIA. The free shuttle bus doesn't lead to HKIA directly.

The ticket is not only available at Airport Station, but also at HK Station, Kowloon Station, Tsing Yi Station and AsiaWorld-Expo Station. Also, you can use AE travel Pass or Octopus Cards to ride on the train.

Or, you can take bus line A11 from Queen Street, Connaught Road West Station to Airport (Ground Transportation Centre) Station directly. The fare is HKD 40, and the trip takes about 45 minutes.
