About:Prohibited Items

I'm visiting a business partner and would like to bring some dates, penuts lotus seed.

Is it allowed?

You can take small amount of them if they are processed. Fresh fruit and seeds are not allowed to enter CN. Remember to declare them at the customs to let them take a quarantine check.
