About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Expired permit

Hi, I'm a student and my permit has expired already. I wasn't aware of it as I was busy with exams and all. This is my second year in China.
I'm given a fine of 5000RMB and then I have to wait for them to process the renewed permit, the problem is I urgently have to go home (back to my country) and come back next month on the 26th, is there any way I can find help? Can I pay the fine then they give me something to be possible to get out of China till next month?

You can go to the exit and entry administration and ask about that and see if you can get anything to allow you to leave PRC now. But I’m afraid it’s risky. You may need to wait for approval of the renewed permit and then you can leave PRC.

The exit and entry administration of the local PSB is located at No. 777 West Shunhua Road in Gaoxin District (Block C of Qilu Sofeware Garden).
