About:China Tourist Visa

Hi, i know a friend who went to beijing as a tourist with 1 year multiple entry visa

but her intention is to work as a nanny and as a tutor. Can she extend her tourist L type for another year?

She can't extend the L type for another year, so she has to apply for a new one after this one expires. However, I don't think it's wise to work on a L type. It's illegal.
