About:Chinese Embassy in Indonesia

X2 visa for internship

Hai I'm Indonesian passport holder. I want to do my internship in Shanghai and the hotel already provide me the invitation letter and also offer letter. The hotel required me to have X2 type. Can I apply X2 type in Indonesia? And may I know how long it can be done and what document should I bring to apply the X2?

Clarissa, for what I know, X2 type is applicable for foreign students in China. If you want to do your internship, you should apply for an M type or Z type. The X2 type is not suitable and you have to find a school to help you if you apply for the X2. No matter what type you apply, the processing time is four working days.
