About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I need to be in Shanghai for c 4 days.I understand a 144 visa free stay applies.

I can get the 144 hr permit on arrival at PVG?
Is that correct?

Tim, the premise is that you will go to a third country or region rather than the last country you come from after 4-day stay in Shanghai. If you meet that requirement, you can enjoy the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai.
