I'm staying at Guangzhou airport for 8 hours before my next flight - please do I need to apply for a transit G type?

Jerba, I’m sorry that you cannot get VOA there, but don’t worry because you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit if you will take the next flight to a third country or region instead of the last one you fly from. In this case, transit G type is not needed.
