About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

From student to intern

Hi!
I came here for my exchange studies and I got a X2 type (since it's under 180 days).
Now I am starting my internship, which is unpaid, and I need to get a new visa. It last under 180 days, like this student period as well.

I am going to this exit and entry burou office with all the needed documents. Have anyone faced this kind of situation?

Salla, if the school provides you the unpaid internship or you get the opportunity though school, it’s possible for you to apply for an X or F type to do it.
But if a company provides you the internship, you may need to do it by applying for an M type or a work Z type.
