About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hong Kong - Beijing for 78 hours?

If we fly from Hong Kong to Beijing and arrive in Beijing at 11:40 on the 7th of August, and depart from Beijing again on the 10th of August at 17:30, will the 72 hour visa free transit cover this, even though it's longer than 72 hours?

Brooke, I think the 72 hour free transit will cover your trip because usually, the 72 hours start from the 00:00 the day following the entry date and you can stay for more than 72 hours in real practice. Thus, don’t worry!
