We are staying in downtown HK. Where do we catch the ferry on HK island?

Where does the ferry drop us off on Lantau Island and then where do we catch the cable car to get to the Buddha? If we take the cable car can we still walk up the many steps to the Buddha? Thanks very much.

Hi, you can go to Central Pier to take a ferry to Mui Wo. At the Mui Wo Ferry Pier stop, take bus no. 3M to Tung Chung Fire Station, which is 3-5min walking distance to NP Cable Car Station. Walk there and take the cable car onto the peak. Pass through the NP Village and you can find the Big Buddha.
