fast train from shanghai to nankin

Question

I will be traveling with two suitcases of 23 kg each and a carry on of 10 kg.  I will fly from Montreal to Shanghai (PVG).  I have to take a fast train to go to Nanjing.  From what I have read on the website, I cannot bring two suitcases.  What can I do?  Thank you for your help!

Based on the policy, one can take 20kg with them but in fact usually the weight is hardly checked as long as they do not looks so large. You can try to take the luggage with you directly. If the staff weight your luggage and says it is overweighted, you may see if you can still take them with you by paying an extra luggage fee.
