About:Pingyao Travel

How long (or how many days) would it be recommended to spend in pingyao ancient city?

Would 3 nights be too long? Is there anywhere else worth visiting before going back to Taiyuan?

Hello, only the ancient city requires at most two days. You can spend three nights there so that you can visit some other attractions like Qiao's Compound, Wang's Compound and Guanlin Temple. I was there last Middle Autumn Festival and spend 2.5 days to cover all of them except the temple.
