About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can i visit Shanghai on a Saturday from us

and leave on Friday for usa using the 144-hour visa free transit.

The time span is ok, but you can fly directly back to US. You can have a layover in another country or region on your way back. Otherwise, you are not eligible for the 144 hour free transit.
