About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Having to return to Departure Airport after Visa expires - great inconvenience!

I (male) have a friend (female) living and working in PRC in the City of Guangzhou, her nationality is that of Filipina and I am U.S. citizen. I have invited her to come to visit me in Los Angeles on a Tourist entry permit, marriage is anticipated and I know, she will have to leave U.S.A. again after entry permit expires. My big question, since she is ending her employment status in Guangzhou (she is domestic help, nanny) is there another way for her not to show a return airline ticked to PRC, but rather to her native country, or any other place? It wouldn't make much sense for her going back to PRC, just because of departure and return ticket requirements.

She doesn’t need to show a return ticket to PRC, and she can provide a ticket to Philippines as the return ticket.
