About:China Visa Fees

Work permit expiring at end of August..Can I apply for a tourist visa before my work permit expires?

Wondering how I can stay in China after my work permit expires. I was told I need to leave the country to apply for a tourist L type. Wanted to see if there was a better way

Vincent, usually, you can apply for a tourist L type after your work permit expires. The l type may allow you to stay for 30 days at most.
If you want to continue to work in PRC, you can find another job and apply for a new work permit. In this case, you can still stay in PRC.
