About:Longmen Grottoes

Is there a cheap youth hostel close to the Longmen Grottoes?

Also, what is the best way to get from the Grottoes to Shaolin temple?

1. You can consider Longmen International Youth Hostel at No. 347, Zhaocun Village, Longmen Avenue. The hostel is about 6 miles (10km) to the north of the grottoes. It costs CNY 30-100 per night. You can book a room by dialing 86-0379-65907206 .

2. You cake a direct bus to Shaolin Temple from the grottoes. The buses depart at 10:00, 11:00, 13:30, and 14:30. The trip takes about 1.5 hours. The fare is CNY 130 per person, including the admission fee of the temple.
