i intend a 3 days trip to the city with my chinese gf, its our first trip, so have some questions in mind, kindly reply in details.1 Can my chinese girlfriend and I share a room? We are not married. Does she need to provide her identity card to stay at my room or just me as a foriegner will provide?2 I read some nice appartment also in the city, maybe around 250 - 300 yuan, suggest please hotel is best or appartment also ok, as far as safety reason?3 Any hotel or appartment suggestion from 200-300 yuan per night?

1. Yes, you can. But she had better take her identity card in case of possilbe check. You need to provide your passport. 2&3. Apartments may be safer than hotels. The distance between the apartment and Gongbei Port is about 4 miles (7 kilometers).Generally speaking, both of you need to show the valid certificates such as ID Card or passport first. Then you are allowed to check-in the room.
