Floods in China! Help!

Hi! I am going to China for two weeks starting this Sunday (July 10th). I will be going to Beijing,Xi'an, Chengdu, and Chongqing. From the pictures and videos that I saw online it seems that the situation is quite critical there. Is it really like that? Do you know if the forecast is still this tragic for next week? I already booked everything so I would hate to have to cancel my trip.

Dear Bianca, the situation is not as serious as you may think. According to latest weather forecast, it will be sunny in Beijing; cloudy in Xian; shower sometimes in Chengdu and CQ. The weather is favorable. So your trip won't be affected. Don't worry! By the way, it is during summer these days, so you are advised to take summer clothes as well as an umbrella. Have a nice trip! :)
