About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can I leave from phuket and arrive back in Bangkok does this count for the 72 hour transit visa?

I have a New Zealand passport

Sorry, this does not qualify for 72-hour free transit because the round-trip route is not classed as a transit route.
