Well, you will be given chances this year in career this year, Alex. Although it is quite competitive, you are likely to gain a good position, especially in the last two months. From now on, apply for some positions and go for the interviews. Once you get a job, the salary can be acceptable. You may not have winfall, but annual bonus be awarded.
