You can apply the S2 type for your daughter in Manila and you’d better apply for an S2 type directly because it’s not easy to change L type to S2 type after entering PRC. The required documents include her passport and copy of its data page, the application form, a passport-sized color photo, an invitation letter from her grandfather and copies of his passport and residence permit in PRC, as well as her birth certificate.
