Change from student visa to Q type after getting married

Hey!
I'm married to a Chinese recently (we've been together 4 years now). Currently I have a student X type but I've just graduated and it will be due on July the 20th, but I will go back to my country on July 15th, I plan to come back at the end of August. Is it possible to change my student X type to a Q type while I'm still here? If so, what do I need? I know I need my passport and its copy, photo, application form, marriage certificate, health certificate, my husband's ID... am I forgetting something? I would really appreciate you help since I've got not much time.

Carol, it’s possible for you to change the X type to a Q type while you are in PRC, but I'm not sure if the time is enough. Aside from the documents you mentioned above, you also need to provide an invitation letter from your husband.
