About:Stone Forest

Hi. How do I get from the Stone forest to Jiuxiang Caves please?

How long does it take and how much does it cost? And any tips? Thank you!

You can share a van with others to Shilin from Jiuxiang. The trip takes about 40 minutes, and the fare costs around CNY 10 per person. Or, you can charter a car there. The fare may be around CNY 50-60.

After touring around, you can take a bus back to Kunming. Please note that the last bus departs from Shilin at 19:00. ;)

Are there buses going back to KM from the caves, or do I have to go back to the shilin first?

Yes, there are direct buses that can take you to KM directly. :)

Yes, you can easily find the private car outside the Shilin Stone Forest.
