About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Entry to Xian Xianyang International Airport - Stay for 2 nights in Hotel & Visit Mt. Huashan

Hi,
We are looking to fly into Xian Xianyang International Airport. Stay in a hotel for 2 nights, in the near by area and fly out on the 3rd day.

We hope to visit Mt. Huashan for a full day.

We are 2 Canadians, and would we need to attain 2 entry permits (tourists) for this limited time period?

Taylor, if you will fly to a third country or region instead of the last one you fly from, you are eligible for the 72 hour free transit in Xian, but I’m afraid you cannot travel to Mt. Huashan because you are only allowed to travel in Xian and Xianyang, while Mt. Huashan is in another city.
If you want to visit Mt. Huashan, I’m afraid you need to apply for a tourist L type ahead of your trip.
