Best Hotel District in Guangzhou for Tourists

Which is the best district to stay in for tourists (a couple) who want to wander to attractions, have restaurants nearby and a metro line close as well? Thanks.

I'd recommend the Haizhu District and Yuexiu District. You can stay near Haizhu Plaza or Beijing Road in Haizhu, or near the Yuexiu Park in Yuexiu. The the shopping, dining and sightseeing can be convenient. The mentioned three all have subway station nearby. Just try to search for a suitable hotel.
