I've already booked a trip which is the nearest city/town to the glass bridge.

Hi, you may refer to the newly built glass bridge in Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, right? Well, Zhangjiajie city should be the closest one. You can take a bus, train or plane to the city first. Then at Zhangjiajie Bus Station, take a bus to Wulingyuan and then change to another bus to the canyon.

Dear Simon, my friend visited there recently. It took around 1 hour from Zhangjiajie Bus Station to Wulingyuan. Then, it took around 40 minutes to the canyon. In addition, she spent around 3 hours in the canyon. :)
