About:Embassy & Consulates of Thailand in China

China to India via Bangkok(planning a vacation). Need info on Thai Visa & other requirements.

Hi, we have Indian passports and are working in PRC for 3 months till August.I have resigned from job & need to buy return tickets to India in 30days on my own. So, planning to go from PRC to India via Bangkok for a vacation of a week in between. As per the rules, return tickets from Bangkok are required but as we flying to India we will not have PRC return tickets. Is that possible to get the tourist Thailand visa(on arrival)??? But we would have Bangkok to India tickets. please suggest

Dear, you can get the VOA in Thailand and the VOA will allow you to stay there for no more than 15 days.

Hey, Thanks a lot for you reply. But, is it Okay to just book onward journey air tickets like from China to Bangkok to India and no return tickets to China? And still be eligible for visa? As one of the mandates to get visa on arrival is to have round trip tickets.
Thanks in advance for your reply.

Subhashree, it is oaky to book the onward ticket to India after staying in PRC. The return tickets to PRC are not necessary. You can still get the VOA in Thailand.
