About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

I have a single entry visa which I need to use for a trip during 29/6-1/7.

However I will be in hongkong from 20-22/6, and plan to visit Shenzen on 21/6 for a day trip. Can I still apply for Shenzen VOA, and avoid using my single entry permit? Please advise

May I know which passport you hold so that I can tell you if you can apply for VOA in Shenzhen? And I’m not sure if you can apply for VOA in Shenzhen if you have an entry permit on your passport.
