alien residence permit china (green book)

Question

i have a valid chinese visa that is due to expire on 30th aug 2016 but my alien residence permit china (green book) expires on 30th june 2016 . can i apply for uk business M type on 25th june or do i need to wait till my alien residence permit china (green book) gets renewed ??

Eric, usually, you need to renew your residence permit 30 days prior to its expiry date, so I’m afraid it’s too late to renew it now. You can apply for a business M type after it expires, but you’d better do it 7m days earlier before it expires.
