Hello, my DOB is 6/2/78 @ 10:58am female. My question is about my education.

l did not get accepted into the registered nurse program that I wanted. I have put so much money & time into applying for this career. Because the program is so competitive, should I continue to pursue it or change my major?
I really don't want to get up on it but at the same l am not getting any younger. I am think of applying again for spring 2017 but I am not sure if I should.
