WASEEM from Pakistan want to visit HK

Hi, I am from Pakistan and currently I am in China (on X-2 type) for study purposes. I would like to visit Hong Kong next month. I would like to ask you I already have valid X2 type for mainland PRC do I still need a visa/entry permission to visit HK. If I need it can you please tell me what are the requirements? Thanks

You cannot use the X2 type to enter HK, so you need to apply for another entry permit to go there. The required documents include copy of your passport, hotel reservation, application form, a passport-sized color photo, flight itinerary, proof of your financial standing and your travel plan. After, submit the application to Beijing Office of HK SAR government to apply for it.

Besides, if the X2 type only has single entry, so if you exit mainland PRC, when you want to re-enter, you need to re-apply for a new X2 type.
