About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Enter China a day later

Is it possible to arrive a day later than you visa says? I have just got my visa but something has come up and I need to push the flight back by 1 day. I would still be leaving at the same time and only entering once.

Tilly, if you mean the “enter before” date, you cannot enter PRC a day later.
But if you mean the “valid from” date, you can enter PRC a day later.

Thanks for the reply! I checked the enter before date and its sometime in 2018 and valid from about a week ago, so I should be fine!
