About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

do we need to register at the local police station with the 72-hour form?

We are staying in Guanzhou for 48 hrs.

In priciple, you need to register at the local police station because your stay is longer than 24 hours. However, since you will lodge in a hotel, the hotel will do it for you.
