Visiting China From the 25th of September till the 9th of October

Hi, we didn't know about the golden week. We will be arriving in Beijing and leaving from Shanghai. We would like to do Beijing(25-27), Xian (28), Chendu (29), Chengdu-Kangding- Seda-Larung Gar (30), Larung Gar (1-2), and on the 3rd start our way to Shanghai with a couple of stopovers. What do you reckon/ recommend?
thanks a lot!

The holiday falls on Oct 1 to 7th. The days before and after are as usual and there will be no big crowds. On Oct 1st and 2nd, you will be in Larung Gar, which is far from big cities and I think there will be no big crowds too. But the thing is the flight ticket to Shanghai will rise dramatically and be prepared for crowds in the city. Maye you can spend a few more days in western Sichuan to avoid the crowds.

Thanks a lot Daniel, reading through the internet about the National Holiday Week is a bit overwhelming. We are even thinking about getting a flight from Chengdu to another city out of the country: Hanoi, Osaka, Kathmandu... for three or four days, but everything is quite expensive.
