About:China Postal Service

Can anyone please help advise how to ship personal stuff (eg. Clothes, shoes, books, etc)?

From Suzhou back to Penang, Malaysia? Where can I pick up the package or it will be sent directly to my house? Would it be very expensive? Can I do the shipment tracking in English?

JoChan, you can definitely ship personal stuff to Penang, except laptop and cell phone. If you write your detailed address, your parcel may be delivered to your house directly, in general. Or, you might pick it up at local post office.
The cheapest way is to ship it through surface mail and you are allowed to pack 20kg of items at most in one parcel. The fare for a 20kg package is CNY300. You will get a tracking number. You can trace the package by inputting this number on this page.
