I'm going to train in kung fu for 6 months and i'm planning to buy a Tai Chi sword.

And possibly more kung fu weapons and want to take it back with me to train at home.
Will there be any problems with it? and Should I declare it if its in my baggage?
Also can I bring any musical instrument to and from china?
