About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

hi, I'm travelling with a 149 hour stop in Shanghai...

but if they start the count at midnight that night it makes it a 130 hour....should
I still get a visa?

Clare, the 144 hours count from 00:00 of the day following your arrival, so as long as you will go to a third country or region rather than the last one you departed, you qualify for the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai. In this case, you don’t need to get an entry permit.
