About:Guiyang Weather

Best airport to fly to from Malaysia if I wanted to go to Guiyang.

From Malaysia there are direct flights to Chongqing, Kunming, Guangzhou, Guilin. Which will be the better airport for transfer to GY and by what transport will be best. Is Oct/Nov a good time to visit?

Well, you are suggested to take a flight to Guangzhou Baiyun Airport first. Then transfer to a direct plane to arrive the destination.
In addition, Oct/Nov is a nice time to tour around there. The climate would be cool and comfortable. And the weather conditions are good for sightseeing. Have a nice journey!
