going from tokyo to kolkata. In shanghai,there is airport transfer and 5 hours stay. Do i need visa.

I am going from Tokyo to Kolkata by China Eastern Airlines. At Shanghai, there is airport transfer for next flight . % Hours stay. Again at kunmin , there is plane transfer . Stay 2.30 hours. Do I need Transit visa. Further whether airlines will arrange for airport transfer.
