Can I visit great Wall from Beijing alone without Tour operator?

So, you are in Beijing right? If so, a solo travel to the Wall can work. I personnally suggest you visit Badaling, which is the most popular section. You can take train S2 at BJ North Railway Station to go directly to Wall. The train ticket only costs CNY6 per person.
