Does hong kong airport have a secure storage area so that hand luggage can be stored for the day?

Yes! You can store your luggage at the Left Luggage Counter at Shop 001 on Level 3 of Terminal 2. It costs HKD 12 per hour, and HKD 140 for each day. :)
