About:China Customs Declaration

What kind of paper do I need to present for the custom declaration of the money?

I need to take around 12000 USD in cash to China. I must close my account in EU and I still don't have a Chinese bank account so that's why I need to take it in cash. Thank you

According to the rules, passengers are not allowed to take more than USD10,000 cash into CN. Taking cash of less than USD5,000 won't be a problem and there is no need to make a declaration.
You are suggested not to close your bank account in EU and save the money at the account. Take less than USD5,000 cash with you. When you arrive in CN, withdraw the money at a bank counter and open your own CN bank account.
