How long is the bus trip from the train station to the scenic area? The opening hours of the scenic area are listed at 9:00-16:50. Does that mean last entrance is at 16:50?  Or do we have to start leaving the area at 16:50?

Take bus line 3 from the railway station to the attraction. The scenic area opens from 7:30 to 18:30 from April, 1 to October 7; from 8:00 to 17:30 from October 8 to March 31. It means that the last entrance is at 18:30 and 17:30 respectively.

In general, it takes around 40 mins on the way. Besides the bus, you are also suggested to take a taxi to arrive at the scenic area. The duration is about 25 mins. And the cab fare would be CNY 20-30.
