About:China Customs Declaration

Can I take food such as muesli bars and fruit, nut and chocolate bars from Australia?

The bars are sealed in plastic.

Taking sealed muesli bars and chocolate bars is allowed, but nuts belong to prohibited items and is forbidden to enter.
For fruit, fresh kind is definitely forbidden. But dried fruit can be taken and you should delcare it at the customs to go through a quarantine check.
