About:Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding

Hey we are travelling to chengdu in November 2016.

And was wondering if holding the panda and taking a photo is allowed in that month?

Currently, you can hold the animal and take photos only at Dujiangyan Base nowadays. But I'm not sure whether if the program is still available in November. Thus you are advised to consult the staff about detailed information through pandaeducatecenter@163.com. Good luck!
