About:Ngong Ping 360

I would like to go to Tai O village from NP 360. How do I reach the village?

Any air conditioned buses?

When is the last bus and how much time it takes and what is the adult fare?

How do I go from Tai O to Tung Chung? I see ferry is an option but what if I miss the last ferry at 6:00 pm?

Where do I get ferry tickets and do I have to pre-book?

1. Take bus line 21 from Ngong Ping Station to Tai O directly. It costs HKD 6.6, and the trip takes about 20 minutes. The bus line 21 operates until 18:15 on normal days, and 18:30 on holidays.

2. You can take a ferry to Tung Chung from Tai O Promenade Landing Steps, Tai O Promenade, Lantau Island. You don't have to book the ticket in advance. Just buy the ferry ticket on the spot upon arrival. It costs HKD 20-30. The fast ferries takes about 50 minutes, and the ordinary ferries takes about 1.5 hours.
If you miss the last ferry at 18:00, you may take bus line 11 from Tai O to Tung Chung Town Centre. The trip takes about 50 minutes, and the fare is HKD 11.8. The buses are available from 06:20 to 01:20.
