About:How to Apply for a China Visa

I married to Chinese Girl and currently we both live in Pakistan.

Hi There,
I have married to Chinese girl in Pakistan. We both live in Pakistan currently, but we would like to move to PRC, Pls. advise what process should I follow to get my permanent residence visa for PRC.

You cannot get permanent residence permit in PRC currently, and you can only apply for a Q1 type which can allow you to get a temporary residence permit in PRC.
The first step is to prepare the required documents including your passport and copy of its data page, the application form, a passport-sized color photo taken recently, an invitation letter from your wife’s father or mother and copies of his/her Chinese ID card, as well as the relationship certificate.
The next step is to submit the application to the embassy of PRC to apply for the Q1 type.
After you get the Q1 type and enter PRC, you can apply for a temporary residence permit at the local PSB within 30 days.
