About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hello I am French and I will be arriving in Shanghai tomorrow then travel to Seoul and come back to

Beijing on the 2nd of June. I have a visa for simple entry in China. Can I use the free transit process in Shanghai and then use my entry permit in Beijing ?
Tks in advance

Dear, if your layover time in Shanghai is less than 144 hours, you can enjoy free transit in Shanghai. When you go through the immigration inspection at the airport, you should tell the consular officers than you will not use the entry permit on your passport for this entry. After that, when you fly to Beijing from Seoul, you can use the entry permit.
