Registration of Address
My wife and i are planning to go back to my home country once my university course finishes (she is a Chinese national). However, my wife's work does not end until one month after my university course finishes. I, therefore, wish to apply to change my X-2 student visa to one month tourist L type, so we can stay together, before going back home.
The problem is that although when I first arrived in China, I registered our address and got the relevant form, I had to get an extra entry on my visa as I needed to leave the country and come back. When I did this, the Officer at the PSB took the form from me and never returned it.
Can I apply for the change in visa without the form? If not, what is my best option?
