About:Shanghai South Railway Station

Im traveling to Shanghai to Liaocheng

Do they really collects the ticket while you are in soft sleeper? Like one of my friend did told me a while ago..? Will they return it before exit, I heard they're also checking the tickets before leaving the train.. First time in China☺

As your friend said, for sleeper ticket, they will collect the paper one and give you a card instead. When your destination is approaching, they will change your paper ticket back. You need to keep the paper one until you checkout the station completely.
